Incomplete Grade (Extension of Time) - Form and Instructions

This form will open approximately two weeks prior to the last day of classes for the semester.

The deadline for this form is 5:00 PM on the last day of the exam period. Forms must be submitted and approved by the instructor by the deadline. Forms which are not approved by the instructor by the deadline will be voided.

To request an incomplete grade to allow additional time to complete class requirements, you must submit a Incomplete Grade (Extension of Time) Form through DocuSign to obtain the permission of your instructor and Advising Dean. 

If you have applied to graduate for the current semester, you must contact the College Registrar (clasregistrar@virginia.edu) before submitting this form.
