Deans’ Scholarships

The College of Arts & Sciences Deans’ Scholarship recipients are announced in late spring. Scholarships are awarded for the following academic year, and are distributed in the fall and spring semesters.

Applications are due on APRIL 1, 2017 unless otherwise noted in the chart below.

  • Apply using the A&S Deans' Scholarship Application, by joining Deans' Scholarships 2017 at UVa Collab (http://collab.itc.virginia.edu/portal) on/after January 18, 2017.  Detailed instructions for completing and submitting the application are on the first page of the application document.
  • To join scholarship site, log in to Collab, go to My Workspace. From the menubar, click on Membership. Next, click Joinable Sites to see a list of all the available sites you have not joined. Enter search terms (name of Collab site) in the Search box, click Search. Finally, click Join to join the appropriate site. After you click Join, you will get the following message: "There are no joinable sites matching your search of 'search term'," where "search term" represents the search term(s) you entered. However, you will see the site you just joined if you click -more- at the top of the page.
  • After May 15, 2017, applications for the Estes Vaughan Howard Scholarship ONLY may be submitted via email to rsr4c@virginia.edu.
